An optimist

An optimist is ...

A person who is happy to be alive even at sad moments.

A person who knows that it isn’t the victory but the fight that makes a man.

A person who assumes his responsibilities and mistakes before being asked to do so.

A person who knows that you have to plant first and then harvest.

A person who can keep his head up even after failure.

A person who knows that the glory is in the actions and not in the advantages  the actions can bring.

A person who worries about not deceiving others.

A person who knows that the peace we seek for can only be found inside our hearts.

A person who knows that it’s not worth it to bury our deceptions on futility.

A person who knows that our defects come mainly from our own weaknesses.

A person who knows how to be gentle and polite.

A person who knows how to respect himself without disrespecting others.

A person who knows that the bad moments are not here to stay and therefore keeps the faith.

A person who can forget the cruelty of friends and relatives.

A person who knows how to wait without getting desperate.

A person who speaks to God in the immensity of His love.

A person who can see the brightness in a child’s eye even in the darkness.
